Laurence Quant completed a Fine Art BA hons degree at Cumbria Institute of the Arts. He worked in administration at the Diabetes Centre at City Hospital, Birmingham for 6 years before joining the HEDRSCE team in October 2006.
His time at City Hospital allowed him to develop IT support skills and he is currently the acting programme coordinator for the Birmingham and Black Country Digital Diabetic Retinopathy Screening scheme - a role which, amongst other things involves a variety of IT support.
Laurence has a weekly screening clinic at Solihull Hospital and is a QA grader/arbitrator at Solihull Hospital.
