Helen Wharton graduated from Aston University with BSc Hons in Applied and Human Biology. She joined HEDRSCE in September 2007 as a retinopathy screener. Previously Helen worked at City Hospital, Birmingham as a medical laboratory assistant for the Clinical Chemistry Department, in Pathology
