 As an experienced grading centre we can take on remote grading for other PCTs. Grading levels include:
- First full disease grade
- Second full disease grade (QA grading)
- Arbitration grading
- Ophthalmology grade
With a consistent QA policy and regular feedback from centre staff you can be assured that your grading is in worthy hands.
Having successfully already produced a graduate training scheme the centre is ready to train graduates to work for other PCTs over the course of months to produce an experienced well-rounded screener/grader.
Any graduate taking on this role would be proficient in:
- Using a fundus camera
- Patient communication
- First and second full disease grade
- Use grading software proficiently
HEDRSCE is one of the only sites available for online testing for the City & Guilds Certificate in Retinopathy Screening.
